Bringing Government and two Global Technology Leaders Together to Solve One of Government’s Largest Challenges

Challenge

When the pandemic spread throughout Arizona, it drove millions of residents to access government services online. The deluge of phone calls and web inquiries from residents caused long wait times and dropped calls. Overwhelmed with competing critical priorities, government officials needed help quickly. And, with vendors constantly emailing and calling trying to take advantage of federal stimulus dollars, it was difficult to discern the true partners from those that just wanted a sale.

Solution & Results

That’s when Traversant Group got an idea. What if we could match the company that managed the state voice network with the leading artificial intelligence solution provider? We began the research on procurement contract vehicles and the competitive landscape to predict potential barriers in the sales process. We also worked closely with each company prior to making the introduction to test the concept and gather feedback.

After making the formal introduction, Traversant Group continued to work with the companies on an integrated solution that used a conversational AI solution to connect virtual agents and residents. The solution merged the AI solution with the existing voice network backbone. Government officials appreciated the preparation and partnership of the companies to resolve technical dependencies and design a roadmap for deployment.

From researching the initial government need to helping develop the go-to market strategy, Traversant Group supported the success of both companies. Today, Traversant Group continues to help the companies make critical, strategic decisions about their market opportunity.
