October: What We’ve Been Up To This Month

The month of October has been an especially busy one for our team at Traversant Group, as we’re sure it has been for you, too. Here’s a quick peek at some of the highlights of where we’ve been and what we’ve done.

Participated in the Cyber Security Summit

Traversant Group was invited to attend the Fourth Annual Statewide Cyber Security Summit, where we took part in important conversations and enjoyed a panel discussion moderated by Michael Mestrovich, CISO of Rubrik and a Traversant Group client. We learned a lot at this event and had a great time connecting with several of our esteemed clients, as well as making new connections with state and local government officials.

Welcomed New Team Members

Traversant Group grew in October, adding three new people to our team. We’d like to introduce to you Special Projects Intern Grace Menna, who is spending time helping with a variety of client initiatives and upcoming election coverage. Administrative Coordinator Sarah Forlano also joined us this past month; we’re thrilled she will be keeping us organized and ensuring we stay on schedule. Lastly, Communications Advisor Rebecca Hasulak, who we’ve worked with over the years, is engaging with us again on public relations and communications initiatives. We’re proud to welcome them to the team, and for our clients to get to know them.

Launched the Arizona Women in Technology Association

Traversant Group spearheaded the creation of the Arizona Women in Technology association. Working closely with the association’s founding members, Traversant Group hosted the inaugural social hour to welcome women working in the technology sector.

Coming Soon

We’re extremely excited to share that Traversant Group has been undergoing a branding and website refresh, all of which will be revealed in late November. We felt it was time for us to elevate our branding to reflect the way that our services and expertise have evolved over the years, and love how it’s all coming together. Keep an eye out for our new look, and be sure to let us know what you think.

Also in November:

  • We’ll be hosting our invite-only Fall Forum. This event provides an opportunity for our clients to reconnect with fellow Traversant Group clients and engage with state leaders, who will share their thought leadership on Arizona’s technology and innovation priorities.
  • Our Founder & President Jennifer Woods will be featured on the Arizona Tech Council’s podcast on November 18. Joining her on this panel will be Ed Jimenez, Arizona State Procurement Administrator, and Paul Robles, Google Cloud Account Executive, as they discuss how to design effective business pursuit strategies in the public sector.

Stay tuned for another recap of all we’ll be doing next month. Need help creating a government sales strategy? Request a consultation here
