Firm Honored to Launch the Arizona Women in Technology Association and Join the Chamber of Commerce & Arizona Technology Council

(PHOENIX – Dec. 19, 2022) Traversant Group, the strategic sales and government relations firm, today shares its gratitude for a year of client success and internal growth. In 2022, the company spearheaded the Arizona Women in Technology (AZWIT) Association in order to build and support a strong community for women within the local technology and government space. Additionally, Traversant Group joined the Arizona Technology Council and became a board member of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce. Jennifer Woods, Traversant’s president, now serves on the Chamber’s Membership Committee. Furthermore, Traversant expanded its team this year and welcomed several marquee clients aboard including Okta, Rubrik and the Wireless Infrastructure Association.

“It’s been a full year of serving our clients, making important connections and growing,” says Jennifer Woods, president of Traversant Group. “Our team is especially proud of our many client successes throughout 2022, and of establishing the Arizona Women in Technology Association. We’re constantly looking for new ways to lend our expertise to others, and to create mutually beneficial relationships for those in the private and public sectors. We’re planning for even more to come in 2023.”

The Arizona Women in Technology Association (AZWIT) held its inaugural meeting in early November, which was attended by a variety of women from the private industry and various state agencies. The initial event provided an opportunity for these leaders to network and form relationships. Traversant Group plans to hold additional events for AZWIT in the coming year, and grow its membership while creating a sense of community for the sharing of ideas, opportunities and experiences.

Traversant also recently relaunched its “TG Talks” program. Created as a way to virtually connect with clients and influencers in the public sector, these virtual, exclusive events give clients and the speakers an opportunity to converse, collaborate and compare notes on priorities. Speakers have ranged from agency chief information officers (CIOs) to city technology leaders, and will diversify further in 2023 to include legislators, city managers and more.
