As fall officially comes into view, we’re getting ready for a busy season of events, collaboration and meaningful work. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to recently, and all we have in the works for the next few months.
Notable TGTalks
Last year, we started a program called TGTalks, which are informative conversations with government officials. Our clients have been thoroughly enjoying these events, and we recently delivered two more for them. In late August, we spoke with Rich McHattie, Chief Information Officer for Maricopa County, followed by a TGTalk earlier this month with Ian Linssen, Assistant to the Mesa City Manager for Strategy & Innovation.. Stay tuned to hear about our upcoming TGTalk in October, with State CIO J.R. Sloan.
Planning Underway: Fall Forum & Women in Leadership
We’ve been eagerly planning our Fall Forum, which will take place November 14-15 at the ASU Thunderbird School of Global Management and feature an array of important state and local government leaders. Keep an eye out for more details about this highly anticipated annual event, as well as the Spring Forum that will be held in 2024.
Our Traversant Group team is also working on an Arizona women’s leadership event, and will share more details when we have them.
Upcoming Events
Here’s a look at some of the events we’re thrilled to either partake in, sponsor or host:
- September – We attended the League of Cities & Towns Annual Conference and sponsored the Phoenix Police Foundation 6th Annual Women in Blue event
- October – Traversant Group is a sponsor at the Arizona CIO/CTO Forum 2023
- November – Our Fall Forum will take place.
- December – Traversant Group is sponsoring the 2023 Arizona Statewide Cybersecurity Summit and will be attending the ATC Cybersecurity Breakfast at GCU
Exciting Updates
In case you missed it, we welcomed the accomplished Ted Vogt back to Traversant Group in early August, as our VP of Government & Regulatory Affairs. We’ve been hearing from many clients that they would like Traversant Group to help them with their efforts in other states like we do in Arizona, so Ted is currently mapping out our expansion into Nevada, Texas and other surrounding states, as well as helping clients here in Arizona. More news to follow soon but if you are interested in help in other states, please let us know!
We’d love to hear your thoughts and what you have planned for the fall, as well. In the meantime, please reach out if you’re looking to achieve extraordinary outcomes and would like a partner to help you get there.
